Blue Day

Last Friday was Blue Day and we did lots of interesting things. In the morning, for writing, we wrote cinquain poems about rain. We published them onto blue paper and coloured in the umbrellas using different shades of blue. Then we added glitter to make our umbrellas look glittery and we used silver glitter for the rain. After morning tea we made hats and blue streamers. We thought of something interesting we had learnt about water to put onto our hats.

In the afternoon we went to the hall to share what we had learnt with the other Junior Syndicate children. We were proud to read out the facts we had learnt about water.
