Race Relations Day

What a great day we had on Thursday with so many children coming to school in their national costume. There were many different countries represented and the parade was very colourful. After playtime the whole school divided into teams of different ages and had lots of fun and excitement learning games from Japan, Australia and Tonga. Team work was marked by the students who lead the games and Team D won a small prize for their efforts.

It was quite a busy week as softball coaches came to school to start a series of lessons. Last Wednesday we found out about running between bases and also practised throwing and catching skills.
