On Friday we had some very special visitors come into our school to talk to us about how to be safe around dogs. We learnt how to stand like a tree and not to stare or show our teeth to an unknown dog. We also learnt to ask permission from an owner if we want to pat their dog. We need to let the dog smell our hands first and then pat them gently under the chin.
I read about the dogs, I like the bit of information about standing like a tree - good to know.
