On Friday it was ROC Day (Respect Our Community Day). The aim of the day was to look at ways that we can be kinder to the environment. To begin the day most children were dropped off at different meeting places and then walked to school with the teachers. After the bell rang we were put into teams for the day. Maxx the Pukeko visited us to help us celebrate. We then took part in three activities throughout the day. We made a piece of artwork with the theme of 'Protect our Environment'. We explored different walking tracks around our neighbourhood. We participated in team games where we had to answer questions about how to be safe and then complete a challenge.
