Toys, Toys,Toys

Our visitor Richard Lees, the Toy Man had some very entertaining toys that he had built himself. We were interested to learn about their construction and really enjoyed having a go with the different things.
This week we wrote letters to him thanking him for coming and saying the things that we learnt.

Dear Mr Lees

I enjoyed your toys and they were made with wood. I learnt that knuckle bones were made with sheep bone and while I was playing with the things I felt really happy because they were so interesting. My favourite toy was knuckle bones because you had to have three on the floor and one in your hand.
Thank you for showing us the neat old toys.
